House Palette (Interior Styling Services)

1. About Us

House Palette is a sole trader business operated by Amy Heffernan (“we”, “us”, “our”), providing interior styling and design services to residential clients across the UK and remotely.

2. Services

We offer interior styling services including, but not limited to:

• Interior styling consultations

• Art placement and curation advice

• Sourcing of furniture, accessories, and décor

• Room layout and finishing touches guidance

All services are tailored to the client and agreed in writing prior to commencement.

3. Booking & Payment

• A booking is confirmed once we receive written confirmation and any required deposit.

• Fees will be agreed in advance and may vary depending on the scope of work.

• Payment terms will be outlined in your invoice or proposal.

• We reserve the right to withhold services or deliverables until payment is received in full.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Clients may reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice.

• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment may be charged in full.

• We reserve the right to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances and will offer alternative dates.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide accurate information about the space and requirements

• Ensure access to the property at agreed times

• Make timely decisions to avoid project delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by lack of client communication or approval.

6. Purchases & Third-Party Suppliers

• We may recommend or source items from third-party suppliers.

• Any purchases made are contracts between the client and the supplier.

• We are not responsible for supplier delays, defects, or discontinued items.

• Availability and pricing of products may change without notice.

7. Design Advice & Outcomes

• Our services provide professional advice and creative direction.

• Final decisions and implementation remain the responsibility of the client.

• We cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results.

8. Intellectual Property

• All designs, concepts, documents, and materials provided remain the intellectual property of House Palette.

• They may not be reproduced, shared, or used for commercial purposes without written consent.

9. Liability

• We will carry out services with reasonable care and skill.

• Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided.

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.

10. Health & Safety

• Clients must inform us of any hazards within the property.

• We reserve the right to refuse work in unsafe environments.

11. Gift Cards

• Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

• They must be used within 18 months of purchase unless otherwise stated.

• Services booked using gift cards are subject to availability.

12. Privacy

We will handle your personal data in accordance with UK data protection laws.
Your information will only be used to deliver our services and will not be shared without consent.

16. Photography & Portfolio Use

We may photograph completed projects for use in our portfolio, website, social media, and marketing materials.

By engaging our services, you grant House Palette permission to use images of your space for these purposes. We will take reasonable care to ensure that no personal or identifying information is disclosed (such as names, addresses, or personal items).

If you prefer that your project is not photographed or shared, please notify us in writing prior to the commencement of services.
